Fall Foilage Getaway in Shenandoah Valley & Charlottesville staying at The Historic Hotel 24 South!

On this fall getaway, we will be staying at the Beautiful Historic Hotel, 24 South Hotel, conveniently located in downtown Stanton within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Your hotel has a gym and indoor pool. Tour the Frontier Cultural Museum, Monticello, which is the autobiographical masterpiece of Thomas Jefferson along with James Monroe’s Highland, and visit Child's Peach Orchard. Lunch is included at the famous Michie Tavern. End your trip with a scenic drive down Skyline Drive with a visit to Luray Caverns before returning home!

Day 1

We depart our area on our Fall in the Shenandoah Valley tour. We travel through the beautiful Shenandoah Valley with rest stops and a lunch stop en route. Today’s journey takes us Staunton, Virginia. Enjoy a tour of Frontier Culture Museum works to tell the story of early immigrants and their American descendants by reproducing examples of traditional rural buildings from England, Germany, Ireland, West Africa, and America. Check into your hotel for the next two nights at the Hotel 24 South centrally located in the city where you can explore the area during your free time.. Dinner is included this evening with the rest of the evening to do as you please!

Day 2

Enjoy an included breakfast buffet before departing for Charlottesville, VA. We travel to Charlottesville and visit Monticello. Monticello is the autobiographical masterpiece of Thomas Jefferson designed and redesigned and built and rebuilt for more than forty years and its gardens were a botanic showpiece, a source of food, and an experimental laboratory of ornamental and useful plants from around the world. This afternoon enjoy an included lunch at Michie Tavern followed by a visit to James Monroe’s Highland for a guided tour. Afterwards we will visit Child’s Peach Orchard before returning to your Hotel the 24 Hotel South

Day 3

Full Bufffet Breakfast is included this morning at your hotel. Depart for Luray Caverns and upon arrival enjoy a tour. Afterwards enjoy lunch on your own before departing on the scenic Skyline Drive before returning home.
