Our Dorchester Seafood & Wine Tour

Learn all about the way of life in Dorchester County, Maryland while enjoying the scenery, complete with forests, waterways, and marshes! Enjoy a local home-cooked meal that captures the flavor of the Chesapeake Bay region. Visit a produce market that is owned by Dorchester farmers. Tour Dorchester’s only winery and enjoy samples of their many wines. Follow that up with a visit to a local seafood market, where you can take the taste of Maryland’s Eastern Shore home with you!

10:00 a.m. – Meet Tour Guide at Dorchester County Visitors Center

   12:00 p.m. – Seafood “buffet-style” Meal at Old Salty’s Restaurant & Gift Shop, Hoopers Island. Meal typically includes crab cakes (one per person), fish, clam strips, chicken, salad, vegetables, and an assortment of pie slices for dessert. Water and iced tea are included for drinks.

     2:15 p.m. – Visit Emily’s Produce

     3:15 p.m. – Visit Layton’s Chance Vineyard & Winery for tour and wine tasting

     4:45 p.m. – Visit Kool-Ice & Seafood in Cambridge, MD

     5:15 p.m. – Return to Dorchester County Visitor Center/Conclusion of Tour
